Comunidanza is a unique non-profit dance festival based in Morelia, Mexico that encompasses live performances, workshops, conferences and screenings. Our festival has served as a creative meeting ground for talent from around the world. In our 5 years of existence, the aim has always been the same: to celebrate and promote a deep appreciation of all dance expressions.

The anual dance video competition has grown to include films from around the globe. Judges in the past have included Nina Janik (USA), Fabiane Lachere (France), Alexis Zanetti (Cuba), Ana Vasquez (Venezuela) and Luz Mas (Spain). Submissions are free.

Films selected for our "Best-of-the-Fest" roster are awarded prizes and the option to screen at additional venues. The winning film will receive a trophy and much love.
