Coming home

Coming home contemplates the inner journey of coming back home into one’s own body. Through weaving a tapestry of contemporary dance and sound, we explore a physical dialogue between the mind and body - the insecure mind, darting between the past and future while juxtaposed with the groundedness and natural flow of the body. This meditation occurs in the unprecedented time of Covid-19: a surface stillness but with an omnipresent undertone of anxiety lurking in the shadows. This journey of self discovery reveals the resiliency of the human spirit and the simple truth: our home within, that has always been.
