Forever a New England kid, Kevin A. Kimball hails from the beautiful state of Maine, though now calls Jacksonville, FL home. An actor and model in his youth, he now yearns for the energy and looks afforded to him then. It was indeed a far simpler time.
Kevin left Maine at the ripe old age of 25 for an exciting, and stress-induced life in the military. In retrospect, the struggles to survive puberty became laughable as his mind and body slowly deteriorated over 9 years in service (I could tell you about this time, but then I’d have to… well, hope you laugh, I guess). Though his experiences are as varied and engaging as the countries he’s visited, Kevin discovered what it was all for in May of 2013 when his daughter was born.
Nearly two years later, Kevin opted to separate from the rank and file of secure government employment to become a poor college student(much easier done than said). Within the next three years, coupled with credits already accrued back in Maine (and South Dakota, but that’s another story), Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Film, and his Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing.
Today, Kevin can be found exploring new stories and characters while waiting by the phone that’s perpetually silent (because it’s on vibrate as he appreciates the ever elusive peace and quiet… his daughter is 6, remember).
This movie is very much dedicated to all of those vets who touched my life, past and present, and even those vets whom I continue to meet long after separation. I hope that I did you proud. This is my love letter to you guys, and I can't wait for you all to see it.
