A professional comedian prepares for a show, running through his routine as he brushes his teeth, dons his tux and downs his pre-show drink. He is troubled, though, by half seen shadows and odd sounds, Tenuous and disturbing images appear as his anxiety begins to grow and his fears begin to take shape.

Matthew Levinthal is a writer, director and editor based in Seattle. He has a background in both narrative and documentary, notably with director Robinson Devor on the critically acclaimed films Pow Wow and Zoo. He is currently in development on several series and film projects.
This film is part of a planned series of brief films about the painful and surreal aspects of comedy, in which anguish, self doubt, and violence are at the heart of all professional comedy.
