FRIDDO E FAMME (Cold and Hunger)

“Friddo e Famme” descrive e racconta la disperazione di un attore, affronta i soprusi, le frustrazioni e le umiliazioni a cui è costretto Ciro affinché le persone che lo circondano riconoscano la recitazione come un lavoro, che invece viene continuamente sminuito. Il cuore del cortometraggio è la descrizione dei suoi fallimenti e insieme della sua ostinata necessità di affrontare tutto questo per realizzare il proprio sogno. Tutti gli aspetti negativi della sua vita spariscono, però, quando finalmente l’attore è nel suo mondo, nel suo habitat naturale. Gli occhi gli brillano, hanno una luce unica. Il suo cuore batte forte, è innamorato. Ha un’energia che si accende nel momento in cui sale sul palco, come una cura, rigenerandolo.
Questo corto è un omaggio agli attori e a tutti gli artisti dello spettacolo che già in condizioni abituali soffrono ma che con il covid sono stati definitivamente devastati.
Questo progetto è anche un omaggio ad Eduardo De Filippo, al suo modo di fare teatro, all’amore che aveva per il teatro. Infatti ci sarà anche la sua voce all’interno di questo emozionante corto.

"Friddo e Famme" describes and recounts the despair of an actor, dealing with the abuse, frustration and humiliation to which Ciro is forced to endure in order for the people around him to recognise acting as a job, which is instead continually belittled. The heart of the short film is the description of his failures and at the same time of his obstinate need to face all this in order to realise his dream. All the negative aspects of his life disappear, however, when the actor is finally in his own world, in his natural habitat. His eyes shine, they have a unique light. His heart beats fast, he is in love. He has an energy that ignites the moment he steps onto the stage, like a cure, regenerating him.
This short film is a tribute to the actors and all the performers in the show, who already suffer in their usual conditions, but with covid have been definitively devastated.
This project is also a tribute to Eduardo De Filippo, to his way of doing theatre, to the love he had for theatre. In fact, there will also be his voice in this exciting short film.
