Sophia Williams is an aspiring filmmaker from Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been making films ranging from stopmotion to live action since she was 7 years old. She has a particular interest in film editing and color grade. Some of her inspirations include independent filmmakers Michel Gondry and Bela Tarr. She has placed locally and nationally in multiple video competitions, (Union County Film Festival and Future Business Leaders of America), and hopes to eventually use her filmmaking skills to create promotional commercials.
Elementary school students believe their teacher, Sarah, has a crush on another school employee, Wyatt, and they set out to see if their suspicions are true. They discover that Sarah is quite shy, and the kids suspect she is hiding her true feelings about Wyatt. “Coffee at Six” follows elementary school teachers Sarah and Wyatt and how their students observe their struggle to hide their true feelings for each other. The children follow their moves closely and their inquisitiveness in discovering the truth brings this heartwarming tale to life.
