Coffee Shop

"It's better to be a sloppy hillbilly than a plastic one." Caffeine-fueled antics and southern sass abound in this dramatic comedy set in a small town coffee shop. The owner, Gale, has asked her business-savvy sister, Margot, to help bring customers in the door. Conflict arises when old-fashioned Margot collides with Irene, Gale's easygoing barista. However, with the news that Gale's health is failing, the two will have to overcome more than their generational differences. Full of quirky characters, heart-touching moments, and a whirlwind of southern insults, this play will be one for theatre and coffee lovers of all ages to enjoy.
