Vicente González Monroy is a Colombian filmmaker and editor currently based in Bogotá, Colombia. He is also an honors graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Film and Television major.
His work is concerned with the nostalgia of the past, of being far away from home, exposed in both fiction and documentary formats.
He's directed 2 award-winning short films Julieta (fiction) and Close Your Eyes (documentary).
This film started as an exploration of traditional catholic religion in Cuba and slowly transformed into a reflection about religion and faith.
