María Paz was born in Necochea, Buenos AIres, Argentina. She studied high school at a multimedia technical school, which involved her into Cinema since her adolescence. She is studyng now at the National Arts University in Buenos AIres, in which she has directed several films and experimental videos. She's looking fordward to studying abroad in Europe, and keep learning as a director in other countries. Her inspiration are pictoryal art, the emotional use of colour, the familiar issues and the work of several directors like Wes Anderson, Douglas Sirk, and Xavier Dolan. She aspires to build an emotional, purely metaphoric and unique cinema.
