I live to write stories about the vulnerable human. I'm constantly looking for projects that move me -- films that have a strong visual identity matched with some deeply compelling human element.
I graduated from the Royal Institute for Theater, Cinema & Sound (RITCS) in Brussels in 2020. My graduation film, Lieve (2020), was selected in over thirty filmfestivals worldwide and received a lot of praise.
A couple of years ago I started rock climbing to deal with my crippling fear of heights. When I started I couldn't even ride the elevator to the fourth floor in my building. I learned to breathe and focus on technique, taking everything step by step, and entrusting my life in someone else's hands. To me climbing is not just a sport. It's a therapy that teaches me gratitude towards life & our planet and coaches me in the fact that I can't always control everything.
Climbing For Gold is a testament to exploring human ability.
