Director Statement

With Under Clear Sky, I wanted to portray two fugitives and to keep the conflict between them as close, intimate and as fundamental as possible. Above all, the child's perspective became the most interesting where political and colored values no longer could be applied. You had the opportunity to go straight to the essence to explore the invisible band between mother and son or the meeting between two complete strangers.
