The 7th Annual Clean Shorts Film Festival will take place March 26-27, 2021, on the campus of Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Our spacious seminar center will be the main stage where every single official selection will screen. Multiple other screening venues will allow attendees many opportunities to view out selections, including the extremely popular "Nominees On Demand" screening room!
We love to cater to our guests. One way we do this is allowing you to order food from your mobile device and having it delivered to your seat, so you never have to miss a moment of the great films.
Clean Shorts Film Festival is an excellent opportunity for independent filmmakers to screen their films to a welcoming audience in a hospitable environment on the campus of Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center, nestled in the wooded rural area of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Clean Shorts is established for filmmakers who are open to producing films that are appropriate for a wide array of audiences, and rewards those whose creativity excels in various categories.
Clean Shorts thrives to create a climate that nurtures filmmaker networking and camaraderie with the added excitement of competition. Our goal is to stimulate the passion of veteran and aspiring filmmakers bringing them together to expand the growth of the independent film industry.
To conclude the festival Saturday night, we will host an Awards Ceremony, in which top films will receive the custom made Rusty Reel Award!

Clean Shorts Film Festival Rules:
New this year is the Clean Shorts Film Festival Photography Challenge.
Each year we have a photo gallery, showcasing the best of our student photography students. Now, we want to show off your work.
Submit your best images in 5 separate categories. There is no submission limit, so send us as many images as you’d like.
Submitter must own the copyright to the submission.
DO NOT SUBMIT WORK THAT IS NOT YOURS!
All photographs accepted will meet the festival guidelines, with strict adherence to the following:
• No Nudity
• No Vulgar Content
• No Gore
• No Adult Oriented Material
Images should be appropriate for all audiences.
Images must be High Resolution JPG
Image format: 11” x 16” x 300 px/in

Clean Shorts Film Festival will print and matte the top images in each category, to display in our photo gallery silent auction.
By submitting, you give Clean Shorts Film Festival permission to print your image and use it in a silent auction. All funds collected will go to the EOC Tech Digital Media Class Fund. Winning Photographers will receive a custom trophy based on judges scoring.
Please do not submit images with copyright watermarks or signature watermarks. If your image is a finalist, we will work with you to get the watermark on the image before we print it for the gallery.
All genres will be accepted for entry with the exception of adult subject matter.
All films accepted will meet the festival guidelines, which is based on the motion picture rating system, PG rating, with strict adherence to the following:
• No Vulgarity
• No F*Bombs
• No Nudity
• No Gore
• No Adult Oriented Material
Films should be appropriate for all audiences.
Foreign Language Films must have English Subtitles.
Official Selections will be based on adherence to the Clean Shorts Film Festival Guidelines, Judges Scoring Process, and the discretion of the Clean Shorts Film Festival Organizing Committee.
Clean Shorts Film Festival encourages filmmaker's to submit family oriented films. All genres will be accepted, including but not limited to Drama, Comedy, Thriller, Sci-Fi, Animation, etc.
Many customized awards including student film awards, and music video awards will be presented to filmmakers during the Awards Program on the closing night of our festival.
Entry & Screening:
Entry & Screening materials will not be returned unless paid shipping is provided. Entries may be submitted in the following formats: DVD, Data DVD, Blu-Ray, USB drive or digital transfer. Entry fees must be in U.S. Dollars and received in form of U.S. Bank Check or Money Order. Online payments are also accepted through Filmfreeway.com.
Entry fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
All entries selected for screening receive two (2) event passes in addition to other benefits.
Clean Shorts Film Festival does not accept pornography, gore or vulgarity.
Accepted entries will be requested to provide additional materials including Digital Poster, Filmmaker-Director Bio, High Resolution Color stills, and a Cast/Credit information sheet.
Clean Shorts will contact applicants at various times regarding their film, thus an e-mail address is required.
Screening dates, times and number of screenings is at the sole discretion of the festival programmer.
By digitally signing and submitting an entry, submitter expressly agrees to be bound by the terms of the official rules and regulations including but not limited to release of their submission. Additionally, submitter expressly states that he/she/they have the authority to waive any interest, right, or claim of any other party may have with regard to their interest in the submission. Further, submitter expressly agrees to defend and hold Clean Shorts Film Festival harmless from any claim arising out the use or release of the submission.
