All genres will be accepted. Content must adhere to our Content Guidelines.
CONTENT GUIDELINES:
All films accepted will meet the Clean Shorts Film Festival Content Guidelines, which are loosely based on the Motion Picture Rating System.
Clean Shorts will accept films that range from a rating of G to PG-12(ish).
CSFF films will abide by a strict adherence to the following:
• No Vulgarity (Limited "foul" language allowed)
• No Profanity (F*Bombs not allowed)
• No Excessive Gore (Some blood & violence is okay. We love horror films)
• No Nudity
• No Adult Oriented or Pornographic Material
• Foreign Language Films must have English Subtitles.
Official Selections will be based on adherence to the Clean Shorts Film Festival Guidelines, Judges Scoring Process, and the discretion of the Clean Shorts Film Festival Organizing Committee.
Clean Shorts Film Festival encourages filmmakers to submit films suitable for all ages. Please refer to the content guidelines above before submitting, to assure your film content is acceptable.
Many customized awards will be presented to filmmakers during the festival.
Entry & Screening:
Entry & Screening materials will not be returned unless paid shipping is provided. Entries must be submitted as a digital video file. Entry fees accepted through Filmfreeway.com.
Entry fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
Clean Shorts Film Festival does not accept pornography, gore, or vulgarity.
Accepted entries will be requested to provide additional materials including Digital Poster, Filmmaker-Director Bio, High-Resolution Color stills, and a Cast/Credit information sheet.
Clean Shorts will contact applicants at various times regarding their film, thus an e-mail address is required.
Screening dates, times, and the number of screenings are at the sole discretion of the festival programmer.
By digitally signing and submitting an entry, the submitter expressly agrees to be bound by the terms of the official rules and regulations including but not limited to the release of their submission. Additionally, the submitter expressly states that he/she/they have the authority to waive any interest, right, or claim any other party may have with regard to their interest in the submission. Further, the submitter expressly agrees to defend and hold Clean Shorts Film Festival harmless from any claim arising out of the use or release of the submission.
Clean Shorts Film Festival shall not be held responsible for any copyright claim against any submitted film. The submitter accepts all responsibility for copyright claims that may arise regarding submitted film.
