Having received a Bachelors degree in Wildlife Science, and is now in the Master's program at Montana State University, studying Science and Natural History Filmmaking.
Clark got his start in the film industry through the children’s environmental television program “Aqua Kids,” where he appeared in 54 episodes across three seasons. “Aqua Kids” received 3 bronze Telly Awards during his tenure with the program.
His two years with The National Geographic Society accrued several media credits - including assistant editor on the NatGeo news video “Underwater Lemur Graveyard Discovered,” produced the online video for “Watch a Fish Transform From Animal to Candle,” and assisted with content for the YouTube and Snapchat branded series, “Expedition Raw.” DeHart was also a media assistant with the NG Weekend radio series, rubbing shoulders with National Geographic Explorers, and editing interviews and video for NatGeo host Boyd Matson.
He believes that one of the best ways to get people involved in conservation is to share success stories about wildlife, so that people feel empowered to be a force of change, instead of burdened by the many conservation problems we face. Clark’s involvement with wildlife filmmaking stems from the desire to inspire the next generation of biologists and natural history filmmakers.
