The Cittador International Film Festival in Vienna, a vibrant two-day event, showcases independent films. Crafted to recognize and reward emerging talent, it goes beyond mere entertainment, aiming to inspire and engage both film enthusiasts and creators. This festival is a curated experience that transcends conventional cinema, offering a platform for emerging voices and inspiring passion for the cinematic arts.
We strive to spotlight global cinematic themes in short and feature films, showcasing a diverse palette of genres for a comprehensive cinematic experience. Emphasizing filmmaker perspectives, we provide a platform for interviews to share their visions with the audience. Our festival welcomes all filmmakers who appreciate inspirational, high-quality, engaging, original, and imaginative short and feature films.
The Cittador International Film Festival considers short films up to 30 minutes and feature films up to 120 minutes running time.
The live cinema screenings of the winning films will take place at the Studiokino Lugner City Vienna, Austria.

2. LAUREL & CERTIFICATE
All selected and awarded films will receive the official laurel of the Cittador International Film Festival and a Cittador Certificate.
3. JURY STATEMENT
Each winning film will receive a short jury statement, which will be published on the Cittador Film Festival website and in the Film Festival Catalog. The jury statement can be reused as a quotation for promotional purposes with the source reference.
4. FILM FESTIVAL CATALOG
The Cittador International Film Festival will publish a catalog containing: a) information about the selected and awarded films, b) interviews with filmmakers, c) a short statement by the jury about the awarded films. Since the information is already available on the Cittador International Film Festival website and will be included in the catalog, there is no free author's copy of the catalog for the filmmakers of the selected and awarded films. The catalog is a document about the festival and serves as a record of the festival. The catalog can be purchased online.
