Circle of Bones

Vincent Soberano studied film and television in San Diego, California, where he first started working for Stu Segall Productions in 1991. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked in a variety of film and television projects, both behind and in front of the camera.
He is the writer/director of “Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids” (2019) which won Best Feature Film, Best Action Feature, Best Martial Arts Film, Best Action Sequence, Best Weapons Sequence, and Best VFX in the New York Cinematography Awards and the Cinemax/HBO Urban Action Showcase Film Festival in New York City Times Square on November, 2019. His original short film, “Blood Hunters” (2016) also won Best Short Film at Cinemax/HBO UASE in 2016 and earned eight laurels/awards worldwide. Another short film he wrote and directed, “We Are War” (2018) has garnered ten laurels and two Best Picture awards to date. He also directed the award-winning National Geographic Channel documentary, "On The Brink: Uncharted Waters" (2016) and has recently been signed for a multi-picture deal by a Taipei-based film fund starting in 2020.
Now based in Manila, Vincent Soberano is working locally on producing several action films with Cinebro, a label of ABS-CBN. In late January 2020, he will be directing “Hard 2 Kill” an action drama that he had written for ABS-CBN under the Cinebro label.
His recent full-length feature films as writer and director include the martial arts epic international drama, "The Trigonal" (2018) which premiered in Cannes on May 12, 2018, supernatural/action “Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids” (2019) which is slated for US theatrical release in March 2020, and horror/action “Circle of Bones” (2020) which is slated for release in summer of 2020.
He directed seventeen (17) episodes for the primetime Filipino TV series, “Victor Magtanggol” and recently completed directing the action in a Filipino remake of award-winning Korean action thriller, “A Hard Day” which is slated for theatrical release in summer of 2020. He was the action director of "Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad" (2017) which broke Philippine box office record history in December 2017, as well as another popular action-comedy, “D’ Wonder Beki” (2018).
Vincent Soberano is also an actor with credits in Jackie Chan's "Police Story: Lockdown" (2013), the UFC's "The Ultimate Fighter (China): First Season" (2014), "Blood Hunters," "Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids (2018)," "The Trigonal (2018)," “Circle of Bones (2019)” and will also be taking on a supporting role this year in the Filipino action film “Hard 2 Kill.”
