Director Biography - Charles Davis

Originally from Vermont but now located in New Jersey, Charles Davis has found a niche in making intriguing and bizarre genre films completely independently.

His most recent short film ATHAS was an official selection at the Chain Film Festival and Newark Film Festival.

His most recent feature film Portal Man won the "Best SciFi" award at the 2018 Chain Film Festival and he was nominated for "Best Actor" at the 2018 Newark Film Festival.

His previous film Eddie Glum was given an A- on FilmThreat where they called it "...one of the most original cinematic experiences you are likely to have this year." Eddie Glum also won the "Best Horror Film" award at the Chain Film Festival.

Director Statement

After both my wife and mother were taken seriously ill in 2018 (both have since thankfully recovered) I was compelled to make this film. Needless to say this is my most personal film to date and something I'm incredibly proud of.
