Cintia de Mita is an Indonesian director-choreographer from Jakarta, Indonesia, who moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to expand her artistic abilities. She is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and is trained in traditional Indonesian dances, hip hop, and commercial choreography dance styles. As a filmmaker, Cintia started by making dance concept videos and eventually, she worked on music videos and short films as the director, talent, or other crew positions. The most recent musical short film she directed and choreographed, “Christmas, I Guess...” (2021), was screened in film festivals such as the Golden State Film Festival and Venice Shorts. She also worked on the choreography team for Indonesian pop star, Cinta Laura, danced for Shania Twain in her “Giddy Up” music video, and filmed a collaboration ad between Turo and The Jonas Brothers.
