The feature movies must have a minimum duration of 60 minutes and must have social inclusion as their theme, intended as added value for society. This theme can be declined in the widest possible ways and forms at the participants' discretion.
Short movies must have a maximum duration of 20 minutes.
Movies don't necessarily have to be previews. The films must be in Italian, or subtitled in Italian. If it is not possible, it is mandatory to send a copy of the dialogues in Italian as an attachment, to allow the subtitling of the film.
The movies must not must not has been produced before 2017 (with the exception of works that have never had any type of projection and distribution not only in Italy, but internationally).
Work in progress is not accepted, the movies must be complete at the date of registration.
The festival will only accept H264, DCP or Blu Ray as projection copies.
All accepted films will be shown once during the festival, with the exception of the winning film. Programming is entirely at the discretion of the CAFF staff.
The CinemAbility Film Fest DOES NOT PAY THE PROJECTION FEES. The registration of the film in the competition implies acceptance that the relative screenings will not be remunerated.
