Concours de courts métrages qui invite les réalisateurs / réalisatrices du Québec (exclusivement) à créer un court métrage sur l’un des thèmes suivants / A short film contest that invites Québec filmmakers (exclusively) to create a short film on one of the following themes:

- Droits des femmes / égalité des genres / Women's rights / gender equality
- Migration
- Tolérance ou élimination des tensions entre différents groupes sociaux / Tolerance
or elimination of tensions between different social groups

A PROPOS DE CINÉ TAPIS ROUGE / ABOUT CINÉ TAPIS ROUGE:
Ciné Tapis Rouge est un organisme à but non lucratif, spécialisé dans les échanges cinématographiques entre le Québec et l’étranger, qui a vu le jour en 2007 à Montréal (Québec, Canada).
Ambassadeur du cinéma indépendant québécois, Ciné Tapis Rouge a déjà présenté en 12 ans près de 1000 films, d’animation, de fiction ou encore documentaire, aux formats longs et courts dans plus de 20 pays.
Depuis quelques années, le mandat de diffusion du cinéma québécois à l’étranger s’est développé et constitue désormais une des activités premières de Ciné Tapis Rouge. Fier de sa contribution au rayonnement de notre patrimoine cinématographique et au soutien apporté aux réalisateurs (trices) québécois(es), Ciné Tapis Rouge est devenu, avec les années, un véritable organisme de référence pour de nombreux partenaires étrangers! / Ciné Tapis Rouge is a non-profit, specialized in cinema exchanges between Québec and other regions of the world. Our organization was created in 2007 in Montréal (Province of Québec, Canada).
Being an ambassador for the independent filmmaking of Québec for the past 12 years, Ciné Tapis Rouge presented, to this day, over 1000 films, including animation films, fictions or documentaries, and either feature films or shorts, in over 20 countries.
For the past few years, our mandate of sharing Québec cinema abroad evolved, and it is now our main focus. Proudly contributing to make our cinematographic heritage shine around the world, and to bring our support to Québec filmmakers, Ciné Tapis Rouge became, over the years, a true reference for many partner countries!

A PROPOS DE 1905 INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL / ABOUT 1905 INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL
Le “1905 International Human Rights Film Festival” a été créé à Hong Kong en 2016. Notre mission est de promouvoir l'éducation aux droits de l'homme par le biais de la projection de films puissants. Notre évènement principal est le “1905 International Human Rights Film Festival”, organisé chaque année au mois de mai. Nous avons projeté des documentaires, des longs métrages et des courts métrages d'Europe, d'Amérique du Nord et d'Asie sur les droits des femmes, les communautés LGBTQ, les peuples autochtones, les minorités ethniques, les réfugiés, la liberté d'expression et la justice.
Nous avons accru la sensibilisation aux questions de droits mondiaux à Hong Kong et à Taiwan.
Nous avons reçu des commentaires positifs de la part du public et des médias internationaux et locaux, notamment dans le New York Times, le Times de Londres, le Hong Kong Free Press, Radio Taiwan International, le News Lens International Edition et le Taipei Times. En 2020, nous organiserons la 4e édition du “1905 International Human Rights Film Festival” à Hong Kong, Taiwan et Bangkok.
Dans le cadre de nos objectifs de sensibilisation aux droits de l’homme dans la région Asie-Pacifique, nous avons fondé le “Asia-Pacific Human Rights Filmmakers Network” (APHRFN), qui a pour objectif d’aider les échanges internationaux et obtenir plus de ressources pour leurs projets. / 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival was established in Hong Kong in 2016. Our mission is to promote human rights education through the screening of powerful films. Our main event is the 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival, held in May each year. We screened documentaries, feature films and short films from Europe, North America and Asia spanning women's rights, LGBTQ communities, indigenous peoples, ethnic minorities, refugees, freedom of expression and legal justice.

We increased awareness of global rights issues in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

We received positive feedback from audiences as well as international and local media coverage, including in The New York Times, The Times of London, Hong Kong Free Press, Radio Taiwan International, The News Lens International Edition and Taipei Times. At 2020, we will hold the 4th edition of 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Bangkok.

As part of our aims is to raise awareness of human rights in Asia Pacific region, we founded the Asia-Pacific Human Rights Filmmakers Network (APHRFN) to assist people who work in the Asia-Pacific Human Rights (HR) film world, to promote international exchanges and obtain more resources for their projects.
