Broken Sky
"The father is the sky; the mother is the earth". As of the 1983 earthquake, Popayan was never the same again. Three decades later, some of its abandoned and decaying buildings talk about it. Maria Jose and Alejandra, like the city they were born in, also dwell in the fractures of their lives and bodies. Using cinematography as an excuse, the sisters recognize each other in a series of encounters to explore the relationship with their parents, carrying out particular rituals as healing experiences.
