Ciaran Crudden is an emerging filmmaker, originally from County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.
Ciaran has a natural flair for visual storytelling, most evident in his latest short film, the vividly coloured ‘Pianist in a Brothel’, starring Jeremy Swift. In this film Ciaran explored a theme very close to his heart - the loneliness and isolation we can feel as creators, in a world full of distractions and shrinking attention spans.
Prior to ‘Pianist in a Brothel’, Ciaran wrote and directed his debut short film, ‘The Butter
Border’. This light-hearted story tells the tale of two sisters in 1940’s Ireland, who must
overcome the odds to smuggle butter across the Irish border.
