Hale played college football at LaGrange College until a back injury led him transferring to the University of North Georgia to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Film.
Once attended the same school, LaGrange College, as actor, Blake Clark (a frequent collaborator with Adam Sandler) while both did performing arts.
As a filmmaker, Hale's passions also include studying theology, politics, and athletics.
