Chris Watt is an award winning screenwriter and script consultant, based in Scotland.
A member of the WGGB and BAFTA Scotland, his feature film screenplay, THE MIRE, is currently in post- production with Apple Park Films, directed by Adam Nelson.
His feature film screenplays FOLLOW UP & FR(E)IGHT were optioned by Stronghold NYC Productions in 2020, with FR(E)IGHT, directed by Steve Johnson and starring BAFTA winner Stuart Brennan, now in post-production.
Off the back of these screenplays, he was also commissioned to write a new horror feature film for Stronghold, which is now in development.
His short film screenplay, BRUISE, was optioned by On The Western Front Studios & is now in post-production in Ireland, while his short film screenplay, EVEN GOD GETS MAD IN THE TEMPLE, is now in production with director Steve Johnson.
In addition to screenwriting, Watt also works as a Script Reader and Consultant for a handful of screenplay competitions, as well as through his own consultancy, THE SCRIPT COURIER.
Watt is also the author of a novel, PEER PRESSURE, and a collection of poetry and shorter work, ON LINES, which are both available through Amazon.
