Chris was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and studied journalism at The University of Sheffield. For the last ten years, he has worked to publicise independent and foreign language cinema in the UK.
His award-winning short films include the documentaries 'Perfectionery' and 'Haxey Hood' which focus on small knit communities in the north of England and 'Remnants', a gothic horror short set in the Peak District national park.
He is the writer of the short films 'Slow Death Parts I,II & III' about his time spent performing in the UK stand-up comedy scene which screened at London Short Film Festival.
He is currently writing a short thriller set in an airport security booth and a feature film. He now lives in Edinburgh.
