Xiaohan Sun (Dari, born in 2001) is a London-based animator, currently studying for an MA in animation at the Royal College of Art. Her work explores personal emotions and real-life experiences to resonate with audience. Through different materials, she creates a safe, familiar space for the audience to reflect on their own lives, and lets them not feel alone.

I love creating unique images and making them move doubles my sense of achievement and satisfaction. The long process of making animation is extremely precious for me to question myself and to reflect on my personal experiences and emotions—those hard-to-face or hard-to-explain feelings in life.
