Director Statement

I'd like to think of myself as an honest filmmaker, what better way to tell your truth than through cinema? My films are made centering around the Black community simply because there are not enough stories being told about us. I want to change everyone's views on the Black experience, the best way I can do that is through my art. My goal is to have films that young Black girls and boys, who simply do not have enough representation, have something to watch and relate to. Representation matters.
