Chin-Fa Chen has more than 30 years of experience in television commercials, documentaries, and film directing. Over the past decade, he has focused on documentaries, aiming to produce inspiring films that blend human compassion, scientific research, and artistic beauty. Through the interaction between humans and nature, he highlights the importance of environmental conservation and protection.

He has received numerous national awards for his artistic achievements and is also internationally renowned for his dedication to nature and environmental protection. His works have earned him first place in the K.T. Creativity Award and the Natural Literature and Reporting Award, the Best Government Publication Award, first place and the Best Photography Award at the 34th Golden Harvest Awards, the Wildlife Protection Award and Cultural Award at the 21st International Wildlife Film Festival, and the Platinum Award at the 40th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. Additionally, he is recognized as an artist representative of New Taipei City.

In 2024, he established the AFa-Nature Center for Ecology & Arts, which is dedicated to the education and promotion of ecological art and the humanities.
