David grew up on a ranch in the central Texas region. After beginning as a passionate writer, David began exploring the film scene and fell in love. After serving as a production assistant, background actor, and sound grip to several other small student and indie projects it was time for David to take a step in the direction of creating. Chi Va Piano is David’s debut as a film director.
Chi Va Piano was a very personal story for me. After losing my brother to depression during the pandemic I wanted to retell a story I had already written. Chi Va Piano serves as a reminder of the importance of staying close to those you care about and for a personal note it serves as a proper goodbye to my brother.
