Engineer turned Editor turned Director, Bishal Sarmah is the lover of the art of filmmaking. He believes that he can speak better through his work than his mouth. Having gained experience in editing many videos, he likes to try his hands onto Direction as well.
Being an editor it has always helped me to analyze and draw out stories in my mind. Editing is nothing but directing a movie for the second time. So in my case, I made reverse engineering where I applied my editing knowledge into direction as well as script writing. It's very important as a Director to understand all the aspects of filmmaking and trying my hands on most of them, it literally broadens my mind as well as my skills, which eventually helps me turn my vision into reality.
