Director Biography - Ujjwal Raj

Ujjwal Raj is a theatre student and new film maker.He is currently pursuing Post Graduation in Performing Arts (Theatre) from Central University of Jharkhand. He hails from Sourat, Madhubani, however he has completed his schooling from Darbhanga. He has been passionate about drama since childhood. He had started his journey in theatre in 2011 with "Theatre Unit Darbhanga" under the guidance of Sagar Singh. He had also been to Delhi to perform in theatres.
Raj has worked with several eminent theatre directors, few of them being Prakash Bandhu, Shyam Sahani, Mahendra Mewati, Nilesh Deepak, Sahil Singh Sethi, Arvind Singh, Shakir Tasnim, Dr. Venkata Naresh Burla, and learnt from them about the intricate details of theatre.
He has acted in plays such as Devdas, Jo Ghar Jaa Rahe, Return of Eklavya, Hayvadana, etc; he has also directed plays such as Kafan, Man behind a Shadow, Kutta, Mein Zinda Rahunga and Moomal Mahendra.
