Cheeched And Handy Season 02, Episode 02
Upcycled guitar amps & unique case design projects transformed into electronic works of art- born during pandemic lockdown, documented & Reality TV filmed (with Princess Raina- a dachshund puppy!) If Martha & McGyver mated with a gummie groove, Cheeched And Handy is the ultimate Green DiY series.
The show is divided into 3 parts: Deep Dive, The Shop, and Soak Up The Sound.
SEASON 2 - Everything is Next Level top shelf- from the videography, scripted scenes, mini embedded documentaries, sound editing and engineering- adding guest stars, animation, SFX, more original music, bolder art project designs, quirky props, a re-designed set, and much more of Princess Raina!
EPISODE 02: new Produced By reel, all-new Title reel, and improved Intro scene (each Ep slightly different).
DEEP DIVE: quick segment features scripted VO and lots of stills / vid clips to tell the transformation / upcycle project story. Embedded is a mini-documentary ("Forward Into The Past") about the speaker's manufacturer- the Webster Electric Company of Racine, WI.
THE SHOP: Is a continuation of "The Revenge Of The Thrift" theme for Season 02, and the guitar amp to upcycle was literally found on the curb on the streets of Hollywood (!) - see S02EP01. A fantasy vignette about a possible backstory is performed by guest star Neda Stevic involving 3 characters, and harp music supplied by guest musician Kristin Westmore. Another mini-documentary inserted gives insight to the Kodak Carousel projector which yields actual work in the Shop
SOAK UP THE SOUND: Demos the "Deep Dive" amp (S/N10) with one song, featuring a vintage 1973 Gibson Howard Roberts Custom guitar.
Show Closes: with and a new Credits reel.

First time filmmaker, full-time sound / style addict & gear whore. Explainer of things. *Freshman amature theatre actor since '22 & since starred in 6 community theatre plays, largest role as "Ralph" / Narrator: Jean Shepherd- "A Christmas Story", hosting Scott Schwartz ("Flick") at 2 performances.
*Radio personality / full-time DJ & Program Director at WFAQ-LP FM 101.3 - a low-power community radio station that I founded and built (licensed 2008). President of Kettle-Moraine Community Radio, Inc.
*As a healer of things electrical in a small basement shop, the Cheeched And Handy episodic series grew organically during Covid lockdown - in response to "I can't shop for Juncque anymore, what can I mash-up that's already in-hand" -while we're waiting to Emerge? As a meticulous visual documenter, the electrical / musical instruments shop experience provides a platform for a (nerdy) story. What initially was intended to show 'splain a bunch of completed works to share on socials- grew episodic by adding the "Reality TV" element of following an actual project from Concept to Completion.
*I'm also fur dad / Wrangler of wienerdog Princess Raina - because she's at my side (almost) 24-7, and easily worked her way into the filming of a few of the episodes - as "The Woofer". <3
Just as radio broadcasting is the sweet intersection between engineering and music, creating (and filming) these projects resonate between Art and Science- in service of the language of emotion: Music.
This show, and series- aggregates almost every passion, skill, talent, interest, hobby, profession and whim- that I've been blessed with. I'm Always surprised by what can come together in the film medium. Thank you for watching.
