Pride and overconfidence brings doom.
Short Synopsis:
Over confidence and pride bring even the most powerful person to face doom, since people
often ignore what is right in front of their eyes. It is intelligence that overcomes and makes
even the weak victorious. The story is of an arrogant and power-hungry politician and his
kidnapped party worker in the backdrop of a game of chess.

Synopsis:
This is a story of a powerful politician and a party worker slightly lower in rank.
This politician is cunning and cautious enough not to leave trails of his misdeeds. But, as he
becomes crazy with power and greed, his trail of misdeeds keep growing.
Suspecting his party worker of knowing his wrongdoings, he has him kidnapped. The party
worker is kept locked in a small room where the politician arrives to find out how his
intricately kept secrets have been unearthed, so that he can destroy the evidence and save
his political career.
To his surprise, the kidnapped party worker agrees to share the sources of information
readily, but, only if the politician agreed to a round of chess, a game the politician had
mastered in his younger days, and was still extremely passionate about. There was one
condition, the politician in return, had to answer the worker's question, every time his pawn
get's killed.
Blinded by arrogance and overconfidence, the politician sets out to defeat the worker in the
game of chess and prove his dominance and power. But is it going to be that easy?
Who is the captive and captor in this game of chess? As more secrets come out with every
move, all that we see in front of our eyes suddenly seem to be an illusion.

Director Biography - Chirag

Chirag, Born and brought up in Kolkata, the city of joy. Hails from Rajkot Gujarat.
Started his career with some modelling assignments on the ramp and gradually migrated to Theater at Padatik, in 1997. Performed in many landmark plays like-

He is Founder member of Mudra Arts Kolkata, Gujarati-Hindi Theater group. And also associated with Proscnium’s Art Center, Red Curtain etc and has performed in various theater projects in Hindi, Gujarati along with independent directors like Ashok Singh, Kartikeye Tripathi and others. He has also performed as actor in Corporate Adfilms, TVC, Short films, Feature films, product launches Tv serials in Bangla, Hindi.
