Eyewitness
A 60-year-old woman lives with her entitled 30-year-old son and his wife. She is a doting mother to him, and like any mother, thinks of her son as ideal. One morning, she starts having a strange issue with her eyes, as her vision keeps getting blurred in erratic spasms, like a camera going out of focus and back. Upon the recommendation of her 23-year-old hip and woke neighbor, she sets out to visit an eye clinic by herself. The solution offered at this eye clinic more than clears her blurry vision.

Anaya Mazumdar is a Mumbai based freelance screenwriter, director and filmmaker. During her undergrad course, she co-founded a production house named Pack Up Pictures.
The power of cinema and its potential to create a positive influence in the world around us, is a fact that strongly connects her to this process. She aims to tell stories, no-formats-barred, that spur emotions.
Years of societal conditioning often blinds us to certain behaviours around us that are unhealthy and toxic. The film tries to bring to the forefront, how we have normalised things that are not, and should not be considered acceptable.
It is time to put on a new lens.
It is time to wake up.
