Charlie Reader is an award-winning writer-director and multi-disciplinary artist.
His work in music videos has garnered nominations at the UKMVAs and the AIM Awards. His narrative work includes ‘Everything You Didn’t Say’, starring Olga Kurylenko and Christian Cooke, and ‘Lobo’ - a sensitive exploration of loss, identity and belonging. Both films have been selected at international Oscar, Goya, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying film festivals across the world, with ‘Everything You Didn’t Say’ picking up the audience award at the European Independent Film Festival, and ‘Lobo’ nominated for Best International Film at Norwich Film Festival.
Charlie’s film work strives to explore human truths and complexities with honesty and compassion; told through his immersive, cinematic lens. Charlie is currently developing a number of projects, including his debut feature film. He is also the founder of C92 Studio - a multidisciplinary creative studio that spans design, photography and creative direction.
