Ron Weisberg is an award winning filmmaker, actor, and author from Denison, Texas, where he discovered acting through his irreverent grandmother Gloria. With a BA from the University Of Texas at Austin in acting and writing, Ron followed his dream west to New Mexico and then LA, learning from different schools and techniques along the way.
Living a dream, Ron appeared in over 65 movies as an actor and got to share the big screen with some of the biggest names in Hollywood like Tina Fey, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Jason Isaacs. He most recently played in the acclaimed TV show 1923, opposite Julia Schlaepfer.
Ron trained thousands of actors in New Mexico and online globally, creating an oasis training ground that also produces movies in advanced classes. This had a profound impact on his first book about acting and writing, The Discovery Technique. Mr. Weisberg is dedicated to creating work for artists and revealing the power of story to inspire storytellers, no matter where you're from or what you look like.
This movie was such a fun experiment with the use of lens choices to create a supernatural love seeking experience. Meanwhile we crafter the story around 5 students in class, and the story is based on a true story from Sandi Kay, one of the students. I am excited to share something so unique to make audiences laugh and ponder what they would and wouldn't do for love.
