SSMAS is a Female Empowerment NGO in Hyderabad-Karnataka region, India. Started by Vijay Lakshmi 20 years ago, it has been helping women in rural India to become self-sustainable by training them skills like textile, cooking, and entrepreneurship. However, the women in the region are still apprehensive of entrepreneurship due to social and cultural differences. This film is about an inspiring journey of SSMAS's founder, from a regular girl to success, to show that it does not require a compromise but in fact strengthens the relationship with the family, making them proud, and the community, making the families around well-off.
