Director Biography - Ranveer Rajpoot

Ranveer is a writer and director hailing from Mumbai, India. He earned his degree in direction and screenwriting from the prestigious Institute of Creative Excellence of India (ICE).

Starting his career as an assistant director, Ranveer worked with prominent filmmakers such as Dibakar Banarjee and Ritesh Batra.

In 2019, Ranveer made his directorial debut with the short film "The Father." The film received critical acclaim and was screened at various film festivals. The story revolves around a mute son who must bid farewell to his dying father, and the emotional impact this has on him.

In 2022, Ranveer wrote and directed his second short film, "Disbalance." The film tells the story of five brothers fighting over a bride and received positive reviews from both critics and audiences. It was also selected for screening at multiple international film festivals.
