Cerveza de Bolsillo

It is a documentary feature that approaches to Mexico's emerging craft beer world and their merchandising from a critic and vivid perspective gives the viewer a wide viewpoint of Mexico's beer industry. This documentary seeks to capture craft beer's production and positioning issues within the beer's national market through four main characters: Cervecería Primus, Cervecería La Brü, Cervecería Malteza, and Cervecería Allende.

Director Biography - Alex Páramo

Alex Páramo is an emerging filmmaker born in Mexico City. His passion for audiovisual narrative has taken him to collaborate in both national television and in the independent Mexican film industry. Alex has studies in the field of communication and digital media with the specialization in cinematography by the ITESM in Mexico City. As well as studies in Film Production by the Vancouver Film School.

Páramo has distinguished himself for being a leader and part of the development of different projects, among which the Third edition of the “Tilt Up University Film Festival” of ITESM stands out.

As a filmmaker, he has made different independent productions:

· "Enlightenment" (short, 2018) – director

· "Lux" (short, 2018) – director
· "Cerveza de Bolsillo" (feature-length documentary, 2018) – director
· "Boda Negra" (Short, 2016) - producer
