I’ve always been fascinated in the artificial creation of natural elements. In this case, a storm. Perhaps it’s some kind of fetish desire to play god, or perhaps I just like to see things move, I don’t know. Either way I felt It was a healthy thing to pursue for this video, as the song (for me) reflects a sense of harmonisation with the chaotic nature of life. An insight into the beautiful struggle that everyone at some point goes trough, and the reality that we sometimes need to confront whatever the problem is to continue.
In all this Joshua (Cero) was such an inviting character to work with, as he has such an enigmatic presence, such a beautiful mix of danger and softness, and needless to say this is something that all directors like to work with.
