This breaks my heart to give a festival this kind of review, but sadly; filmmakers need to know. I have never dealt with such a lack of communication. I never saw the promotion for the film and I always had to ask to be updated on what was going on.

My biggest issue. We won two awards at the festival and we were deeply honored! They even reached out saying we would be contacted soon to receive our prize. Three weeks went by and I didn't hear anything, so I kindly sent an email following up. Another week went by and nothing. So I sent another thinking that they may have missed it, nothing. Another week goes by and my team member tried reaching them on facebook messenger. They read it and didn't respond. We just thought it was so rude. I wouldn't submit to them, the fee is high and you don't receive anything out of it. I don't even know if people watched the film since I never heard anything about it.

  • Very happy about their mission statement and genre. I communicated with them constantly.
