Director Biography - Bruklyn Miller

Bruklyn Miller is a filmmaker born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. A student at New York Film Academy, Bruklyn aims to challenge the way her audience conceptualize their lives, what they value and how they define their moral lines. Her time at New York Film Academy has helped her grow as a filmmaker. She has an infatuation with dreamlike surrealism, gallery-inspired imagery and controversial stories, most which drive from directors such as Hiro Murai, Ari Aster, Bong Joon Ho, Jordan Peele, Barry Jenkins and Justin Simien. Her biggest motivation is to work on feature films as a writer/director or producer. She aims to create content for the future, providing opportunities on-screen and behind the scenes for people of color and women and allowing the audience to fully immerse themselves into the universe and conversation being created.
