The Cayman Through My Eyes Short Film Competition was developed to help bring awareness to tourism, history, culture and a sense of pride about the Cayman Islands in our youth though film.

Cayman Islands students aged 10-19 are invited to submit a short film on this year's theme is Concatenation: interconnected things or events. Exploring Cayman's past, present and future.

Films will be screened as part of the Cayman Islands Film Festival and winners announced on June 20th.

Winners in each age division will receive one week enrollment at New York Film Academy, hotel and airfare for themselves and an accompany adult.

Runners up in each division will receive various prizes. Additionally, a prize will be presented to the winner for the people's choice online voting portion.

The Film competition is open to all students of the Cayman Islands aged between 10-19.

Stories should be based on history, music/people or a story about an experience in Cayman.

Videos must be filmed in and relate to the Cayman Islands. If highlighting an issue, film maker must present ways to address in a positive light.
