Daniel Williams is a recent animation graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design and the director of the film Cave Ablaze. After developing and pitching the initial concept, Daniel worked with a team of other students to further craft the story and served as an animator and supervisor.
He has worked as an animator on several other animated projects in his time at SCAD, including SCAD Animation Studios' first two films, Bearly
Working on this film has been my most rewarding experience at SCAD. The process of developing it from a small concept to a fleshed-out hybrid of CG and 2D animation was a great team effort that gave me the opportunity to work with many talented artists who helped to make it something we could all be proud of.
I'm incredibly grateful to my amazing team for all of their hard work and dedication to the technical and creative challenges this project presented, and I'm very excited to share it.
