Director Statement

I created Casting Beyond the Current to highlight and expand the visibility of women in fly fishing. This film aims to capture their stories, show their connection to nature, and emphasize their presence in a traditionally male-dominated space. Through this project, I hope to inspire more conversations around representation and share the unique experiences of women anglers.
