Letter to my Grandfather
During the last years of the longest European dictatorship, a Portuguese ambassador in Madrid, Luís Pinto Coelho, married and father of six, falls in love with Katharine Rodney Graf, an american top model. And so it start´s, a drama between feelings and reason, family and homeland in a documentary about choices, love and convictions.

João Nunes is a portuguese filmmaker living in Lisbon, Portugal.
Since is high school years, he avoided any written essays by treating the themes in short films edited with two VHS Tape machines, that were presented to the class with great success. After graduating, he started his career in a National Broadcast Tv Channel as an Editor and Director for more than 10 years. In 2013 he founded is own Production Company - CONTINUE WALKING - and made its first feature documentary, Letter to my Grandfather.
