Cars for a Cure Documentary

This 12-minute documentary was filmed and edited by the students of COHEA's Mass Communications Academy over a span of 10 months. It tells the story of a local organization that raises funds for cancer research through an annual event called Cars for a Cure, which is held on Main Street in Miami Lakes during April each year. The money is donated to the University of Miami's Sylvester Cancer Center for cancer research. The documentary premiered on March 25, 2020 at the Main Street Playhouse in front of supporters and donors.
