Caroline Koonce is a writer, director, producer, and comedian based in Los Angeles. She champions stories that explore the darker sides of humanity through surreal and ludicrous humor, and she’s fascinated by the similarities between laughter and screams. She currently serves as head writer on the thriller/mystery podcast Hunting Grounds (2025) and is busy tackling her first feature - send thoughts and prayers. She graduated from DePaul University’s Theatre School with a BFA in Comedy Arts in June 2023. Recent projects include short films Until Sunrise (2022), In Your Dreams (2022), and Killing Time (2024), as well as the drag variety show Looking for a Third (2023). When she's not working, you can find her exploring the great outdoors, researching things that get her put on FBI watchlists, or summoning various minor demons with her cat, Cleo.
