Carlos David is a multimedia artist, photographer, and videographer whose work focuses on themes of diversity, inclusion, and self-expression. His work examines the nuanced relationship between self-perception and the observer’s gaze, bringing together a vibrant community united by their shared pursuit of identity, dreams, and fantasies.

David is the recipient of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Creative Engagement Grant and the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Arts Engagement Grant. He has also been awarded the Adobe Artist Development Fund and is an alumnus of Creative Capital’s "Taller." His project PERSONAE was shortlisted for the Aesthetica Magazine Art Prize and nominated for the Fine Art Photography Awards.

His work has been exhibited internationally, with shows in New York (USA), York (England), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Rovinj (Croatia), and Saltillo (Mexico).
