Carlo Ambrosetti was born in Genova, Italy, on the 29th of December, 1964. His father was an engineering-designer, his mother a homemaker.
Since he was a kid, he has been used to home-transfer, for father’s employment purposes. He has been living in various parts of Italy. By this variety of experiences, he’s got a fancy for travelling, and an existence-view put apart from daily-routine.
Still a young boy, he has been a practitioner of artistic gymnastics, then of karate. He has become teacher of this last discipline.
At the present days, he gets different interests: movies, literary, history.
He was 20 years old, when he won the award for writing “Giovani Scrittori per Alessandria”, for a thriller-story.
He received his law degree in 1987, and became a legal-consultant in the insurance-sector, established to counter-organised fraud. He has been a lawyer and a free consultant, too. Interested about criminal law and the whole sociological suggestions of every legislation, over the years, he’s got to fine-tune his passion for literary-works, by writing a number of books: which now are bringing to public attention.
In the recent past, Carlo Ambrosetti has alternated the karate-practice with scripts for movie and other new literary-works. In 2015, he received the “Paladino d’Oro” prize for best screenplay, at the “SportFilm Festival” of Palermo, with the short film “Onda”, produced by “Ente di promozione sportiva Libertas”.
In 2016, the cultural association “Aquila Volante”, Palermo, produced and shot the movie “Hantei, il Giudizio Finale”, from his subject and screenplay. “Hantei” was among the finalists at the same SportFilm Festival, in 2017.
His works obtain their roots from the suspence-thriller pursuit and by thinking about characters’ fate, seen as the human beings who we could be, inside social mechanisms, often appearing unkind and unfair.
