Director Biography - Alexandre Moitinho, Henrique Sezara

ALEXANDRE MOITINHO is a screenwriter and director of short movies. His script for the short film "Through the door" was awarded at the Five Continents International Film Festival (Venezuela), 2017. He is currently finishing his first feature film.

HENRIQUE SEZARA is cinematographer and director of short films. His first job was as cinematographer in "For you to dance", short film selected in 4 festivals in Latin America, including Santo Domingo Outfest 2013 (Dominican Republic) and which has over than 3 million views in Youtube. He currently works on documentary copyright projects.

Director Statement

MOITINHO'S STATEMENT: I'm journalist and working mainly with nurses made me knowing lots of beautiful stories. I felt extremely satisfied on telling these journeys of empowerment and overcoming.

SEZARA'S STATEMENT: Shooting this film was a pleasant surprise. I received the invitation to co-produce and co-direct a few days before we started production, it was defiantly beautiful and very enriching.
